My love for art, Maine and to help others find the beauty within our world.
Maine is in my blood. I’ve traveled to many places and Maine has just captured me with its beautiful gifts from nature to the culture built on simplicity with pride and hard work to spirit of the people. I can drive most anywhere in the state and discover something magical.
Dandelion Art is a funky, colorful, thought provoking art studio that brings out the energy, uniqueness and beauty within all things. I hope for others to look at something that is perhaps ordinary and feel its beauty, see what it gives to the world. Through my pieces I want to give someone that quirky smile, that bit of vibrancy and warmth to carry with them through out the day.
My biggest challenge perhaps is having the time and energy to be open at times people can visit my studio.
Right now I’m working on a series of pieces that are vintage items that have perhaps earned a soul. I’m photographing items that people have intimately used or worked with. Artifacts that one has used in their daily lives that have brought comfort, built or created new things or helped us to survive our daily lives. These items have built America and have been the stepping stones to our modern day life.
Oh my gosh do I have to choose just one. My best seller is a photo called Grumpy Bird.

I’d be driving in Maine on route1 stopping at every single place- scenic spot, gift shop, diner, nature path, art studio and roadside stand.
