Founder Q&A

Q · What inspired you to start this business?

Real estate felt like a natural next step for me. I’ve always been someone who helps people, whether that was caring for seniors, working as a substitute teacher, supporting local businesses, or simply being the person friends and family call when they need a recommendation. I love Midcoast Maine, I love connecting with people, and I love the idea of helping someone find a place to call home. Real estate gives me the opportunity to combine my passion for community, marketing, and helping others during one of the biggest milestones in their lives.

Q · Why Maine?

Maine is more than where I live, it’s where I’m raising my family, supporting local businesses, and building a life I love. That’s why I’m passionate about helping others find their place in the community I proudly call home.

Q · What makes your business unique?

I’m not just a REALTOR®,I’m a local mom, substitute teacher, community supporter, and small business cheerleader who genuinely loves Midcoast Maine. You’ll often find me exploring local shops, highlighting hidden gems, attending community events, volunteering in our schools, or sharing my favorite places throughout Lincoln and Knox County. I believe buying or selling a home is about more than a transaction, it’s about finding the right community, lifestyle, and place to create memories. My background in caregiving, education, customer service, and marketing has taught me how to listen, communicate, and truly understand people’s needs. I know what it’s like to balance family, work, and life’s big decisions, and I strive to make the real estate process feel approachable, supportive, and stress-free. When you work with me, you’re not just getting a REALTOR®, you’re getting a local connection, a community resource, and someone who genuinely cares about helping you feel at home in Midcoast Maine.

Q · What has been your biggest challenge?

My biggest challenge has been learning to trust myself. Starting a new career in real estate while raising a family, working multiple jobs, and navigating an industry full of experienced professionals hasn’t always been easy. There have been moments of self-doubt and uncertainty, but each challenge has pushed me to grow, learn, and become more confident in the value I bring to my clients and community.

Q · What are you working on next?

Becoming the go-to Midcoast Maine community connector online, someone people follow for local recommendations, events, businesses, home tips, and eventually real estate.
